Genie Intellicode Programming Instructions
If you have lost the operating instructions or need help programming the Genie Intellicode keypad, North Shore Commercial Door Co. has the resources that you will need to successfully program your keypad. Operating instructions are available for keypads with Intellicode 1 and keypads using Intellicode 2. The instructions are thorough and provide details on how and why a procedure is being done. The instructions note that these wireless Genie keypads come from the factory as Intellicode 2 units. You first have to switch the keypad to Intellicode 1 mode before programming the unit.
Illustrations are also provided to help you program the keypads. The first bit of advice offered in the instructions is to program the keypad before mounting. Subsequent steps include lessons on how to create a wireless keypad PIN, teaching that PIN to a opener and operating the opener. Once those steps are completed, instructions on mounting the unit are given. There are slight differences in programming Intellicode 1 vs. Intellicode 2 keypads, so make sure you have the correct set of instructions for your needs.
